International Academic Conference in honor of Nikos Kotzias

On the occasion of the 20 years since the establishment of the Department of International and European Studies of the University of Piraeus, a very interesting international academic conference entitled “Greek Foreign Policy in the 21st Century” took place in Athens on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 March, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Greece has declared Albania, alongside Italy, as a hostile country back in 1940 with a royal decree. The Greek – Italian Treaty of friendship in 1947 withdraw the state of war among those two countries.

FM Kotzias to meet Albanian counterpart Bushati

Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias will meet on Thursday with his Albanian counterpart, Ditmir Bushati. The talks between the two ministers will focus on the next steps in the dialogue to solve outstanding bilateral issues.

Kotzias in Koritsa to continue the negotiations

Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias spoke about the developing situation in Albania and the continuation of negotiations, stating that: “I have a reserved optimism that we will complete our efforts during our meeting in Koritsa (Korça).
