Archbishop Ieronymos sends telegram of condolence over Manchester attack

“It is with especial grief that I was informed of the tragic incident involving the sudden death and injury of so many innocent young people in Manchester, England,” Archbishop of Athens and All Greece Ieronymos said in a telegram of condolence addressed to the United Kingdom’s Ambassador in Athens Kate Smith.

Expressing his deep condolences, Ieronymos added his heartfelt wish that “God will rest the souls of the departed and provide good solace to their families.”
