Jean-Claude Juncker on Prespes Agreement: Rarely have two prime ministers assumed such a huge responsibility

European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker on Friday underlined the need for the final approval of the Prespes Agreement within the envisaged timeframe, during his joint statements with the president of Romania Klaus Iohannis in Bucarest on the occasion of the assumption of the EU Presidency by Romania.

Juncker called on both sides, Athens and Skopje, to do what history requires and in parallel he praised Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and FYROM Prime Minister Zoran Zaev’s efforts, noting that rarely had two prime ministers assumed such a huge responsibility.
