Pitsiorlas to ministerial meeting: Focus on cooperation not competition

We must focus on cooperation and not on the competition between us and set on the table of discussion issues that refer to the market in the region, underlined Alternate Economy Minister Stergios Pitsiorlas at Greece, Bulgaria, Albania and Fyrom ministerial meeting that is held in Thessaloniki.

He referred to the opportunity offered by the Prespes agreement and expressed five ideas which will be discussed in the quadrilateral meeting.

-Cooperation of the four countries responsible agencies with aim the development of joint initiatives at international exhibitions for the attraction of foreign investments and boosting exports.

-Interconnection of the commercial registries of the four countries

-Memorandum of cooperation for the protection of the consumer

-Cooperation of the Central Market (of the four countries)

-Cooperation for the control of market on matters of quality, black market and compliance with procedures.
