Greek-Chinese MoU on corruption

After Justice Minister Stavros Kontonis and the Deputy Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China, Xu Lingyi, met, Greece and China signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the issue of corruption.

Kontonis stressed the necessity for Greece to tackle the severe consequences of corruption and corruption itself, as corruption is based on and produces social inequality.
