Greek Super league: Olympiacos F.C. wins 3-0 the team of Xanthi F.C. at Piraeus

On Sunday’s home clash for the Greek Super league at the Georgios Karaiskakis stadium, Olympiacos F.C. Piraeus was victorious over Xanthi F.C.  with a final score of 3-0 goals.

The Reds and Whites took the lead early in the match, against Xanthi F.C., thanks to a mistaken penalty decision by referee Dimitris Karantonis. Karim Ansarifard (pen. 26′, 57′) and Kostas Fortounis (69′) bagged the goals of the Piraeus team, while Jorge Rodríguez of Xanthi F.C., was sent off at 59′ with two yellow cards.

Until now, Olympiacos F.C. Piraeus is on the top of the standings of the Greek Super league, with 41 points, whereas Xanthi F.C.  has a total of 24 points in the competition.
