Panathinaikos F.C. drew to Xanthi F.C. on Sunday’s away clash

On Sunday’s away match for the 15th match day of the Greek Super League, Panathinaikos F.C. played out 1-1 draw at “Pigadia Stadium” against the team of Xanthi F.C.

Omri Altman was the one, who gave the visitors the lead with a close-range effort at 18′, but the home side equalized at 78′, thanks to a fine header by experienced Slovak international striker, Erik Jendrišek.

During the match, the Greens missed many opportunities to score and lost the chance to rise in the Greek Super league standings. Until now, Panathinaikos F.C. Athens sits 10th with a total score of 16 points, while Xanthi F.C. is 8th on the standings with 18 points.
