Dimitris Tzanakopoulos: SYRIZA will have stronger parliamentary majority in the next parliament

The government’s reshuffle, in terms of selection of persons, highlights Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras‘ intention for cooperation among the forces of the wider progressive area, government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos said on Sunday.

On the European elections, Tzanakopoulos said that SYRIZA will ‘participate with its name’ and its ballot will depict the need for wider political alliances from the Left, the socialist and the wider progressive area in order to intercept the rise of the extreme right in Europe.

He said that in the next parliament “we will have a stronger SYRIZA majority and different parliamentary correlations adding that many of the parties that will participate in the Constitutional revision procedure in the next parliament would have learnt their lesson after the elections results”.
