“For us you are a minority government, we do not trust you,” stated the head of the Movement for Change (KINAL) party Fofi Gennimata during the parliament debate on Tuesday on Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras‘ request for a vote of confidence in his government.
“There is no limit to the humiliation, you should have called early elections. You don’t do this because you are afraid of the people,” she said.
Gennimata called Panos Kammenos’ withdrawal from the coalition government, a ‘pre-planned farce’.
The stakes at the elections were bigger than how power will be distributed, concluded Gennimata, predicting that the Greek people will make KINAL strong with their vote while warning that, otherwise, the country will be cast into problems and discord.
