George Koumoutsakos: Government is in a ‘tailspin’

“The government is in a tailspin and the country, at a time when it faces great challenges, [is plunged into] political instability and uncertainty,” main opposition New Democracy shadow foreign minister George Koumoutsakos said on Wednesday, in a statement.

“In democracies, governments can govern when they have the two legitimations: institutional and political, formal and substantial. When they do not have this double legitimation they cannot govern. They either ask for [a vote of] confidence or the country is taken to elections,” Koumoutsakos added.
