Stavros Theodorakis: Potami position on Prespes Agreement has not changed

Potami wants to see if the terms of the Prespes Agreement are reflected in FYROM’s constitutional amendments, said party leader Stavros Theodorakis in an interview.

Theodorakis said that his party’s position remains unaltered, as it is not influenced by oral statements. “Oral statements are usually for internal consumption. We are not interested in oral statement but in texts,” he explained, and added that there is no issue of party discipline.

Talking about the prospect of his party cooperating with New Democracy or Syriza, he reiterated his position that “Potami will follow an independent course” and that “it would be a disgrace for a political leader to be included in another party’s ballot.”
