Government makes secret diplomacy to extend its life, says Kikilias

New Democracy (ND) shadow defence minister Vassilis Kikilias accused the government of secret diplomacy after the publication of the minutes of FYROM political leaders’ meetings.

Speaking on Wednesday, Kikilias said that ND believes that there is secret diplomacy between the government and foreigners not to protect the national interest but to extend the government’s life. “This government is going to do everything to remain in authority. It is sad that a Greek government was proved so ignorant of history and accepted, as it is revealed, the name Ilinden which constitutes the cornerstone or our neighbours irridentism”.

Referring to the pensions issue, Kikilias expressed his hope that there will be no cuts stating however that if it is a political game for the government to gain five more months in authority and push the cuts after the elections, this would be politically immoral.
