“We hope to enter a new era of strategic collaboration with Greece by spring”, says Albanian PM

Negotiations between Greece and Albania to resolve certain outstanding issues could be completed by next spring, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama said in an interview to Albanian station Report TV on Tuesday.

“We hope to complete this dialogue successfully and enter a new era of strategic collaboration with our neighbouring country; an era when past problems do not appear as problems in the future, and where the shades of the past remain in the past,” Rama was reported as saying.

The Albanian premier also said he would be meeting with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
