PM Tsipras: Western Attica to be our front yard

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras gave a speech at Elefsina’s indoor stadium for the closing statements of the 8th Regional Conference for the Reconstruction of Production in West Attica, noting that it is a must to not abandon Elefsina and the area, as it was used to all these years, but transform the area to the “front yard of Athens”.

He mentioned that it is necessary to eliminate the roots of the crisis that led us to where we are not, clarifying that the environment ministry is working already on producing a report on the causes of the lethal floods in western Attica. To conclude, he underlined the four main pillars of the government’s policy on the future of the area: social cohesion and integration, sustainable model of development and growth, quality of life and the appropriate reforms for tomorrow.
