Eleni Foureira to represent Cyprus at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon

According to recent information, Eleni Foureira will represent Cyprus this year at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest, which is going to take place in Lisbon, on May 8, 10 and 12.

The meeting took place yesterday at Panik Records offices, between the record company and the representatives of the Cypriot channel RIK that came specifically for this reason in Athens.

Now, RIK’s official announcement is expected within days to reveal the title and date of the song’s release.
However, according to some rumors, the song, signed by Alex Papaconstantinou, is a super-dance hit with ethnic style and it is titled “Fuego”.

We remind that a few days ago RIK has made a proposal to the Greek famous singer, Helena Paparizou to represent Cyprus, however the 35-year-old star kindly refused to appear for the third time at the competition.
