Sakis Rouvas has been in New York in recent days and, among other things, he visited the “Ground Zero”, where the Twins Tower once existed.

The top Greek star traveled to the American city, along with wife, Katia Zygoulis on the occasion of the 5th Annual Gala organized by the Hellenic Initiative (THI). The Greek artist is an official guest of the evening, while he will also present the Gala.

Through social media, Sakis Rouvas shared a special video, as he made a private visit to the Greek church at the “Ground Zero”, which collapsed after the terrorist attack and now a new one is being built in its place, which is expected to be ready in 2018.

“It is an honor and blessing I visited the church of St. Nicholas, the world symbol of Orthodoxy, built with the special aesthetics of architect Santiago Calatrava at the World Trade Center,” wrote in the caption.
