Refugee Food Festival

To mark #WorldRefugeeDay, the Refugee Food Festival comes back to Athens from 19 to 24 June 2018, while a special Refugee Food Festival event will be also held at Nan restaurant on Lesvos island.

Organised by UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, Athens Insider and Food Sweet Food, the Festival seeks to bring Athenians together around the table and showcase culinary skills of refugees. Over one week, six restaurants in Athens will support the refugee cause by opening their kitchens to refugee chefs living in Greece.

The Refugee Food Festival will simultaneously take place in 13 other cities around the world, including Brussels, Madrid, Paris, San Francisco, New York and Cape Town.
