New government programme to help small entreprises implement investments

The Greek Economy Ministry tabled an amendment in Parliament that will create new means of financial support for very small and small enterprises.

Under the plan, these enterprises will be able to receive up to 3.0 million euros in financial support for their investment plans.

Very small and small enterprises will be offered a range of support incentives (including tax breaks, company subsidies and job creation subsidies).

The amendment also envisages that companies will be eligible for financial support after applying for the measure up to June 28, 2019, as long as they started operations this year.

In a report, the Economy Ministry said that the new financial support regime will be explicitly focused on providing support to very small and small enterprises  across all economic sectors, to help them implement investment plans.
