PPC signs loan agreement with EIB worth 155 million euros

The Public Power Corporation (PPC) signed an agreement on Friday for a loan worth 155 million euros with the European Investment Bank (EIB), to update and improve the power distribution networks in Greece.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, PPC president and CEO Manolis Panagiotakis said that the distribution network may be the most valuable asset PPC owns, and the greatest factor in the chain of electricity production.

EIB, he noted is the largest loan collaborator for PPC and has always been helpful at particularly difficult times for the company and in development investments.
