EuroWorking Group ‘broadly positive” on Greek state budget

The EuroWorking Group was ‘broadly positive” on the Greek state budget and the European Commission’s suggestion that Greece can meet the 3.5 pct primary surplus target in 2019 without cuts in pensions, said on Thursday a well informed source.

The same source said that the positive measures provided in the Greek State Budget are in growth direction.

In any case and according to sources, the final decision will be reached at the Eurogroup meeting in December where all the eurozone member-state budgets along with European Commission’s suggestions, to be issued on November 21, will be discussed.
