Decision on Greek state budget possibly at extraordinary Eurogroup in November

The decision on the Greek state budget will be possibly reached at the extraordinary Eurogroup that will be held in November, said a eurozone official on Friday in Brussels.

According to the official, what really matters in the Greek state budget is the primary surplus target (3.5 pct of the GDP) to be met. In parallel he said that the issue of cuts in pension is under discussion in combination with the package of positive measures presented by the Greek government adding that the important is the measures to contribute to the economic growth.

The same official said that Greece is not on the agenda of the Eurogroup that will convene on November 5.
