CEO Karavias: Supporting tourism a strategic choice for Eurobank

Supporting tourism enterprises is a strategic choice made by Eurobank, a choice that justifies our decision as the tourism sector is one of the basic growth pylons of the Greek economy, Fokion Karavias, the bank’s CEO said during a two-day visit to Rhodes, heading a top executive delegation in the framework of a strategy to have regular contacts with clients and the bank’s executives around Greece.

“We are here to support our clients, with financial and consultant services, offering a full range of products and services. Through their activity and growth, we support the local and national economy to win the bet of long-term and sustainable growth after a several-year crisis,” Karavias said, adding that “Rhodes and the Dodecanese region is a metropole of Greek tourism and at the same time a geographical region with strong economic activity in several other sectors”.

The visit (October 3-4) follows a series of similar visits made in several other regions of the country in the framework of Eurobank’s initiative to support business communities and to further deepen its relations with local societies around the country.
