Free admission to archaeological sites, monuments and museums on national holiday, October 28

Admission to archaeological sites, monuments and museums will be free on the national holiday on Sunday October 28 announced the Ministry of Culture.

In addition, during the period from November 1st to March 31st 2019, there is a reduced admission ticket to all archaeological sites, monuments and museums for all visitors, while the first Sunday of each month; entry is free.

The Acropolis Museum, open from 08: 00 to 20: 00, will offer the opportunity to visitors, to tour the museum’s permanent collections as well as the temporary one, titled “From the Forbidden City: Imperial Apartments of Qianlong”, which will be presented by archaeologists-curators in Greek (11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 17:00, 18:00 & 19:00) and in English (at 10:00).

Registration can be made on the same day at the Museum’s Information desk. Valid for a limited number of visitors (up to 25 guests per presentation) and it is on a first come, first served basis.
