State of emergency declared in Grevena, Deskati due to heavy snow

Authorities in northern Greece have declared a state of emergency in the municipalities of Grevena and Deskati due to the disruptions caused by the recent intense snowfall.

The emergency status will last for one month until snow is cleared from roads leading to rural areas and from dozens of mountain villages that have been cut off
