Light quake jolts again Zakynthos

A light quake, the third in the last in the last two hours jolted again the island of Zakynthos at 13:00 on Thursday, said the Geodynamics Institute of Athens National Observatory.

The tremor’s epicentre was located in the sea region 38 km west-southwest of the island.

Earlier, at 11:02 and 11:06 two earthquakes measuring 4.6 and 4.2 on the Richter scale shook quake stricken Zakynthos.

The epicentre of the quakes was located 33 km and 31 km southwest of Zakynthos island with focal depth 5km and 2.8km respectively.

The island has been experiencing several strong aftershocks following a temblor on October 26 measured 6.4 on the Richter scale.
