Greece, Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia to accomplish joint military exercise

A military exercise with the participation of special forces units from Greece, Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia will take place on Thursday in the greater Attica region, following a Greek initiative, and will be coordinated by the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS).

“SALAMIS STORM 2018” will include special operations personnel from the armed forces of Greece, Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia, while observers from Cyprus, Egypt, Estonia, the USA, Jordan, Israel and Poland are also invited.

The purpose of the exercise, to be completed on June 9, is “to promote the level of military cooperation and interoperability of participating units,” an HNDGS announcement said.
