Coast guard preparing for heightened traffic at Attica’s ports ahead of Easter

The Coast Guard has taken additional measures to prepare for a spike in traffic at the Attica ports of Piraeus, Rafina and Lavrio on Wednesday (Holy Wednesday) as people start departing for the islands to spend the Easter holidays.

Steps have been taken to facilitate travellers while passengers are advised to be at the dock at least an hour before the scheduled departure time.

Fifteen ferries are scheduled to depart on Wednesday from Pireaus, 11 from Rafina and three from Lavrio for the islands of the Aegean and the Saronic Gulf.
