Ministry of citizen protection expresses discontentment for Germans’ control on greek passports

Particular discomfort has been caused to the Ministry of Citizen Protection due to the check that ALL Greek citizens undergo at German airports on flights from Greece.

After multiple times of communication between Deputy Minister Nikos Toskas and the German State Secretary for Home Affairs, Thomas De Meier, and the assurances of the German side over a discreet and temporary application of the control measure by the German authorities, which will not be made to European citizens, the exactly opposite situation prevails.

According to the report, six countries are carrying out border controls. More precisely, these are Germany, Austria, Sweeden, Denmark and Norway, while France is following the same policy (after the terrorist attack in Bataklan)
