Greek language, history and literature to be taught in Belgian Schools

Cooperation Charter “Introduction to Language and Culture” signed  by Deputy Education Minister Kostas Zouraris and Education Minister of the French Community, Marie-Martine Schyns,in Belgium.

The Cooperation Charter  provides for  introduction of Greek language, history and literature courses to Primary and Secondary Education of Belgium.

Minister Marie-Martine Schyns, also accepted  the  proposal  for introduction of Greek as third language of choice in the last two grades of Lyceum.

The courses will be conducted by Greek teachers from the Brussels Coordinating Office.

Students of Belgian Lyceum will now be able to choose new Greek as an officially taught language in their curriculum.
