Greek bond market closing report

Investors in the domestic electronic secondary bond market were cautiously optimistic on Thursday ahead of a crucial Eurogroup meeting in Luxembourg. The yield spread between the 10-year Greek and German benchmark bonds rose slightly to 4.04 pct from 4.0 pct on Wednesday, with the Greek bond yielding 4.36 pct (4.37 pct the previous day) and the German Bund yielding 0.32 pct. Turnover was 16 million euros, of which 11 million were buy orders.

In interbank markets, interest rates were mixed. The 12-month rate was -0.182 pct, the nine-month rate was -0.215 pct, the six-month rate was -0.268 pct, the three-month rate was -0.324 pct and the one-month rate was -0.372 pct.
