Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis made some operational improvements to the government, with an emphasis on the sectors of Economy and Development. Essentially, the changes in the government are about additions since no minister has changed.
There is a total of five people who constitute Mr. Mitsotakis’s changes:
Deputy Finance Minister Theodoros Skylakakis, who is promoted to Alternate Finance Minister responsible for fiscal policy and who will take over the coordination of the funds that will flow into the country from the Recovery Fund.
Deputy development and investments minister Nikos Papathanasis, who is promoted to Alternate Development and Investments minister for private investment and public- and private-sector partnerships (PPPs).
Panagiotis Tsakloglou, a member of the Pissaridis committee, will take over as Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, in charge of Social Security issues.
Finally, MPs Nikolaos Tagaras and Zoe Rapti are appointed to the positions of Deputy Ministers of Health and Environment, respectively.
