Independent Greeks (ANEL) party leader and Defence Minister Panos Kammenos on Friday informed reporters that his meeting with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has been postponed until complications that are blocking progress on the Prespes Agreement in neighbouring FYROM are overcome. The meeting was scheduled for Friday.
“We said to postpone the meeting with the prime minister until the problem in FYROM is resolved,” Kammenos told the press a short while ago, upon his arrival for an ANEL parliamentary group meeting.
Elaborating, Kammenos said that the meeting with the prime minister can’t be based on scenarios, while adding that he is in constant communication with Alexis Tsipras.
The ANEL party is the junior member of Greece’s coalition government, which is led by SYRIZA.
