7th OSCE Wide Workshop on Delimitation and Demarcation at the Foreign Ministry in Athens

The 7th OSCE Wide Workshop on Delimitation and Demarcation is organised at the Greek Foreign ministry, on November 15-16.

This is the first time that Greece hosts the conference, which aims the exchange of good practices and learn from border developments in the OSCE region.

Clearly defined borders, among other things, contribute to regional security and stability, facilitate legitimate trade and the cross-border movement of people while they reinforce efforts to combat illicit trafficking in drugs and human beings, trade in cultural goods and other forms of criminal cross-border activities, according to diplomatic sources.

A total of 35 representatives from 20 countries, including Greece, will participate in the conference as well as 9 members and consultants from OSCE.
