“Turkey is feeling more and more isolated and it will follow a policy of pressure and tension in the coming period,” main opposition New Democracy (ND) Shadow Foreign Minister Giorgos Koumoutsakos said on Saturday in an interview.
For this reason, Koumoutsakos stressed the importance of being on alert.
Regarding the Greek-Albanian relations, he stressed that “Greece must insist on revealing what really happened (with the death of Konstantinos Katsifas in the village Bularat).”
On the Prespes Agreement, he said that the government has trapped Greece in a process from which it is very difficult to disengage, (while) the absolute point of no return is the ratification of the Agreement by the Greek Parliament which will automatically mean the approval of the neighbor’s participation in NATO.”
For this reason, he stressed, New Democracy will not vote for the Agreement. “This is our firm position,” he stated.
