Following two highly successful Sales Seminars, held to inform hospitality professionals on strategies that can boost hotel bookings and revenue, the third of the series will take place Friday, October 26, at 6pm at the SantoWines Conference Center on the island of Santorini.
According to the organizers, the large number of attendees of the previous events were very eager to learn more about recent trends in the hotel sector and how to implement new technologies and strategies to boost revenue and bookings. The talks proved to be very beneficial to those participating, who followed the speakers with great interest as they explained the importance of adopting new approaches and techniques in order to stand out amongst competitors, especially in very popular tourism destinations in Greece.
The event on Santorini will give the island’s hotel owners the opportunity to hear from industry experts on how other businesses have strengthened their position and turnover by using a range of tools and technological know-how.
Representatives of five key market players will be sharing their insight with the audience:
– Sophia Matzourani of Aqua Vista Hotels, a leading hotel management group
– Victor Matsas, Owner & C.E.O. of WebHotelier, a company with high-tech tourism experts
– Alexandros Damigos of Marinet, a company with specialists in hotel online presence
– Kelly Athanasiadou of #Rest@rt Contemporary Art Platform, a group of cultural tourism advisors
– Iakovos Sachas of DNA Travel, a company with professionals in experiential tourism.
The seminars will take place with the kind collaboration of the Municipality of Thira, SantoWines and the Santorini Hoteliers Association.
Commenting on the upcoming seminar, Sophia Matzourani, Business Development Manager of Aqua Vista Hotels said: “If the past two seminars are anything to go by, then it is clear that hoteliers are extremely interested in learning about new ways in which they can increase revenue and bookings.”
Matzourani said that the great turnout of participants on Paros and Naxos reveal that there is a distinct need in the market for expert services.
“The positive feedback we received from within the industry is extremely encouraging. We are certain that the subsequent seminars will be just as successful and are delighted that each specialist in his or her own field is able to contribute to strengthening tourism in Greece,” she added
