Twenty members of the antiestablishment group Rouvikonas will appear before the prosecutor on Tuesday morning, following a detention turned arrest on Monday over trying to storm the Citizens Protection Ministry.
The 20 people tried to enter the ministry on Katechaki Street shortly after 8:00 a.m. and when they were prevented by riot police threw flyers in support of jailed November 17 terrorist Dimitris Koufodinas. They were taken to the Attica police headquarters, where they were detained. Their detention became an arrest with charges including disturbing the peace, interrupting transportation and inciting to action.
In a posting online, the group is calling for a rally of support on Tuesday at the Evelpidon Courts, where Rouvikonas members are being tried.
