Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will visit Paris on Thursday to receive an award from the French magazine Politique Internationale, a quarterly French political affairs magazine covering international relations based in Paris, and the city’s Bar Association.
According to information, Tsipras will receive the “Prix du Courage politique“, which has also been given to French President Emmanuel Macron, IMF chief Christine Lagarde, former President Nicholas Sarkozy and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
The PM is scheduled to speak at an event organized by the Paris Bar Association and receive a second award, the “Prix de l’Engagement européen“.
As part of his visit, he will also meet with French businesspeople, interested in investing in Greece. The visit was initially planned for 18 October but Tsipras’ visit to the United States pushed the date to 23 November.
