Summer camp experience at Technopolis in Athens

A special summer experience for entertainment awaits young friends, from the 19th of June to 14th of July 14, at the Summer Camp in Technopolis, in the City of Athens, for children aged between 6 to 12 years old, from 8:00am in the morning until 16:00pm in the afternoon.

For four consecutive weeks, Technopolis alongside with the Industrial Gus Museum organize the richest summer training program with exciting inventions, educational robotics workshops, video animation, painting, and dancing among others.

The Summer Camp includes four periods, with different themes per week. More specifically:

On the 1st week, from 19th to 23rd of June, “Magic and Inventions” (Μαγεία κι εφευρέσεις) young people learn everything about weather phenomena, study the circle of life, the stars and many other unexplained things that only nature and science are able to explain.

On the 2nd week from 26th to 30th of June, with the theme “Arts and small artists” (Τέχνες και μικροί καλλιτέχνες), children experiment with different materials, get involved in the secrets of the moving image and make their own short film animation.

On the 3rd week from the 3rd to7th of July, with the subject of “Robots and Experiments,” (Ρομπότ και πειράματα) visitors play with science and new technologies. Moreover, they learn about renewable energy, while doing chemical experiments.

Finally, in the 4th week from 10th to 14th of July “Body and Movement” (Σώμα και κίνηση) through creative activities, a lot of dance and gymnastics, people discover their body, learn to eat properly and live better, as well.

The kids who take part in summer camp will have the opportunity to learn new things, play and have fun. The cost per week is 120 euros, but there is also the option of discounts for siblings or other group bookings. In addition there are discount packages even for a child if is going to take part in more than a week’s events. Finally, the maximum available number of children per week will be one hundred.
