The National Federation of Unions of Greek Doctors (OENGEG) and the Hellenic Federation of Public Hospital Workers (POEDIN) decided on Friday a work stoppage for Monday, December 10, between 11:00 and 15:00.
Trolleys will not run in Athens from 12:00 to 15:00 on December 12 so staff may attend a union meeting. The trolleys will start withdrawing from circulation as of 11:00 and are expected to return to normal schedules by 16:00 or later.
Athens buses will run only from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, in support of the general strike called in the private sector by the umbrella union GSEE.
