Metin Mutanoglu: Turkey’s 87.5% voter turnout a record in democratic elections

"The most striking aspect of the June 24 elections in Turkey was undoubtedly the Turkish voters flocking to the polls; the 87.5 percent voter turnout has been recorded in the history of democracy in both Turkey and the world," Metin Mutanoglu, Anadolu Agency deputy director general and editor in chief told the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA).
