Nikos Pappas pays official visit to Cyprus

Digital Policy Minister Nikos Pappas is paying an official visit to Cyprus on Tuesday.

Pappas had talks with the Cypriot Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Vasiliki Anastasiadou. The two ministers briefed each other on the promotion of actions agreed in the framework of tripartite agreements and fiber optic interface through the Euro – Asia Interconnector Project.

The Greek delegation presented the programmes:

(a) “Digital Agriculture”

(b) “Electronic Document Handling in the Public Sector”

After the talks, the Greek minister visited the premises of Hellas Sat ground-based satellite control station.

Then, he visited the Cyprus Technological University (TEPAK) in Limassol where he attended a presentation of the Eratosthenes Research Center and the EXCELSIOR Project on land research and environmental monitoring from space.
