Terens Quick in Egypt

Deputy Foreign Minister Terens Quick is currently in Egypt to attend the annual events commemorating the Greek officers and troops that fell in the Battle of El-Alamein, taking place on Saturday.

On Sunday, Quick will meet with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry. According to the official programme, he will additionally have working meeting with his Egyptian counterpart Nabila Makram to examine the final details of the “NOSTOS II” programme taking place at the end of October in London, with the participation of Greeks, Cypriots and Egyptians living in the United Kingdom.

On Saturday evening, the Greek minister is scheduled to meet with the new governor of Alexandria and finally conclude his visit to Egypt on Sunday by meeting the Patriarch of Alexandria Theodoros and members of Alexandria’s Greek community.
