FM Kotzias chaired meeting on National Security Council

A meeting of the National Council on Foreign Policy, chaired by Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias, began on Wednesday to discuss the formation of a National Security Council.

The meeting was attended by the chairman of Parliament’s Defence and Foreign Affairs Committee Constantinos Douzinas, Maria Triantafyllou and Panos Trigazis representing ruling coalition leader SYRIZA, main opposition New Democracy shadow foreign minister Giorgos Koumoutsakos and ND’s Giorgos Savvidis, Andreas Loverdos and Silvana Rapti from the Democratic Alliance, Spiros Danellis and Giorgos Kaklikis from Potami, Constantinos Katsikis and Eleftherios Karagiannis from the Independent Greeks and Eleni Martsoukou from the Centrists’ Union.
