Alternate Economy and Development Minister Alexis Charitsis said on Thursday that Greece has left behind the hard part but that large challenges lie ahead.
“The large dilemmas are coming back – support the social state and labour or austerity and continued pressure on labor costs. This is where the next political battles will be decided,” he said in an interview to Kontra Channel.
“We succeeded in taking the country from the bailouts with the community still standing. We do not want to win the elections to remain in power but because we have a plan for the next day for the country that corresponds to the needs of the majority of the community,” he said.
