Mitsotakis meets heads of business groups and promises tax cuts

New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with the heads of 42 chambers of commerce on Tuesday and reiterated his commitment to drastically cut taxes and social security contributions.

In a closed door meeting, Mitsotakis said that “the total amount of tax and social security contributions is non-manageable for businesses.”

The party leader said that he will soon unveil a plan for a final solution regulating private sector debt with the aim of giving a second chance to those being squeezed by debt.

Mitsotakis went on to say that picture in the real economy is bleak that is unfair on healthy entrepreneurs and has nothing to do “with the beautified state presented by the government and its mechanisms of propaganda.”
