Christos Spirtzis: Greece has a national strategic infrastructure model

Greece’s national strategic plan for infrastructure foresees connecting the country with pan European transport networks and the international market, said Transport Minister Christos Spirtzis on Friday.

Speaking at a conference in Patras, the minister said that he had been instructed by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras to travel to Sofia on Friday to hook Greece up with a European network that will work with China on transport and growth issues.

“We removed the country from the bailouts, completed projects, western Greece is no longer isolated, accidents on national roads are zero from the day the highways were ready, we are implementing a strategic plan for infrastructure, changing the production model and securing fair growth for the country,” he said.
