First cabinet meeting of 2018 ends with cutting of New Year Cake

The first cabinet meeting held in 2018 ended on Monday with the cutting of a traditional New Year Cake by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, while the slice containing the ‘coin’ went to Defence Minister Panos Kammenos.

As Digital Policy Minister Nikos Pappas tweeted on his account, the prize for the minister winning the coin was priority digitalisation for the ministry they led, meaning that Greece’s defence ministry will be digitalised first.

“The minister that found the coin would win the digitalisation of his ministry by @MinDigitalGR & @olgagerovasili. Lucky @PanosKammenos, the [defence ministry] will be digitalised first!”, Pappas wrote.
