Germany’s low cost Eurowings will launch 16 new flights to and from Greece this summer, offering a total of 66 flights for the country.
The company presented on Thursday its flight program for the season and said that Corfu, Heraklio and Kos will be serviced by another 4 flights, while Rhodes will also gain 3 more flights. One more flight will be added to Zakynthos, the company added.
“According to our forecasts, Eurowings in 2018 will transport 1.4 million passengers and more than 300,000 additional tourists to Greece. It is estimated that the increase in tourist traffic from growth in the Eurowings network, will secure the creation of more than 1,000 new job positions in the country,” said Markus Leopold, Regional Manager UK & Netherlands for Eurowings.
