Particularly, 2017 is another extremely successful year for the Greek tourism, as our country was honored with two distinct distinctions in two competitive procedures, which were organized by well-known magazines at the beginning of the week in London.

In particular, Conde Nast Traveller’s readers voted the Greek islands, in the context of the Condé Nast Traveller 20th Annual Reader’s Travel Awards, the Greek Islands, as the world’s top 2017 destination in the category “Best Islands in the Word / Favorite Islands”. In the top ten, the following islands are: Balearic Islands, Sicily, Maldives, Koh Samui, Bali, Seychelles, Malta, Sardinia, Saint Lucia. We remind that in the same competition in 2016, the Greek islands were placed in the second place of the rankings.

At the same time they voted Greece as the second best holiday country in the category “Best countries in the world / Favorite countries”. Italy ranks first, followed by USA, France, Spain, South Africa, Australia, Thailand, India, Canada. Last year, Greece had taken the first place.
