Olympiacos B.C. ready to face CSKA Moscow B.C. for Euroleague’s Final 4

On this Friday, the squad of Olympiacos B.C. Piraeus will play in their 10th Final-4 in its history and will face CSKA Moscow B.C. in the semi-finals of this year’s Euroleague competition.

Both teams have met up in the past years and more particularly in 2012, when the Piraeus team staged an amazing comeback in the last quarter and managed to win the Euroleague’s title against the Russian team.

Kostas Papanikolaou and Vangelis Mantzaris were among the first Olympiacos B.C. Piraeus players to come out on the court. They both smiled and drew on the final of 2012, when they were European champions on this court, winning the trophy with a huge overturn to CSKA Moscow. It has been five years since then, however memories remain strong and intense.

The crucial game between two teams is going to take place on the 19th of May on Sinan Erdem Dome in Constantinople.
